_Remembering the good 'ol days just got a whole lot easier with the vintage, measured sound of 'The Peach Kings'. LA duo Paige Wood and Steve Trezevant have a 50's vibe they like to call "gypsydelic". If you ask me, it translates to that rebel-without-a-cause, hit-the-road-Jack kind of attitude. The kind that makes you wana blow this taco stand and never look back.

That is, until 50 years later when you start to miss the simpler days.

Check out the official video for "Thieves and Kings" below.
_ I love the end where we discover the briefcase is full of perfectly ripe, juicy peaches.
Ah, now it all makes sense.

Here is a breezier song for you to spin around to, with martini in hand, obviously. "Little Things" has that easy, laissez faire sound to loosen you up after work.
_'The Peach Kings' just dropped a new EP entitled Trip Wop (with three tracks and a bonus remix) and you can snag a free download right here on on their Bandcamp site. If you want to check them out live, they will be playing a charity show at the Bootleg Theatre in Silver Lake on Feb 5 and are scheduled to go on at 9pm. Also, look for Drew Barrymore's shout out to 'The Peach Kings'  in February's In Style Magazine.
