It's true, I've made fun of my blogger friends for years.
If they would get emotional over yet another "cinematic triumph" or perhaps wildly excited at the first sight of truffle foam on their appetizers, I would nod and say to them: "Oh please, why don't you do us all a favor and go blog about it?!"

All this time, it's been so glaringly obvious! I want to blog! I have just been too embarrassed to admit it after so much time spent dimly disapproving of others for their need to self-express. I judged them for their enthusiasm if I found it to fall an inch beyond the realm of cool.

But in my experience, not much is better than spending time with a "bon vivant", with someone who knows how to enjoy life. I could smirk all I want, but enthusiasm ignites our passions. And our passions are what drive us to excel, to cultivate our interests, and make life all the more pleasurable. So I am devoting this blog to my many interests in hopes of finding my true passion.
